“On 31st July 2017 a NL Crit Series race was held during the after Tour de France criterium “De Draai van de Kaai”. The race featured 40 top level riders from 12 different countries, in front of thousands of spectators. American Eamon Lucas won the race, followed by Dutchman Davíd van Eerd and Italian Alessandro Mariani.

The 8bar crit is a bike race for fixed gear and road bikes only. The riders have to do multiple laps on a very technical course. The first rider crosses the finish line wins.
