“The Dick Lane Velodrome in Atlanta hosted the Velodrome Cup on Saturday, August 29th 2015. With a schedule of events presenting a wide number of races for a variety of different categories and ages, it truly was a celebration of track racing. Among the riders former National Champion Zac Felpel from Team Heavy Pedal, fine tuning his preparation for Red hook Criterium Barcelona scheduled on September 5th. Other fierce competitors were Erin Young from Minneapolis, John Croom from Rock Hill, Nat Worcester from Ft. Lauderdale, Emile Abraham from Atlanta, Kevin O’Donnell from Marrietta, Nick Oestrich from Lithia Springs, Salma Huque from Douglassville and Cheryl Fuller-Mueller from Atlanta”.

1. Start with a normal bike box and cut it down to a 30” x 30” square.

Riding was obviously the backbone of the event, but it also revolved around the participants, local food and sights of rural Japan. Riders experienced a variety of different micro-climates as the weather and scenery morphed over the course of the day, dotted along the way with seasonal dishes prepared by Circles’ own Early Birds and Chris King’s Chris Diminno.”
