Team ENGINE11 went Red Hook Criterium 10th anniversary and had an epic trip. Our rider Cesar involved gnarly crash and severe injury. The surgery went well and now he’s in fast recovering for coming back soon. Thanks for the support to all our friends and sponsors.

We from 8bar love to ride our bikes ourselves and go on trips that deviate somewhat from the average.
Starting in 2012 by crossing the Alps with our fixed-gear bikes, to taking a trip from Berlin to Prague without the help of a map with our Singlespeed Cyclocross bikes in 2013 and climbing the Schneekoppe, the highest peak of the Giant Mountains in Poland, in 2014 with our road bikes.
This time we decided on Africa, the Atlas Mountains in the middle of Morocco to be more precise, as our next destination. The Atlas forms a striking divided line between the relatively humid climate in the far north of Maghreb to the extremely dry Sahara.

Some of the crew recently we went to Malaysia to race Holycrit in Ipoh, we decided to gather some footage while we stayed in Kuala Lumpur. This segment features Derek Rebel a rider from Melbourne, having some fun on the roads in KL, luckily it was a public holiday so we had plenty of space to play.,

Tallinn Leg Days is an international fixed gear festival that takes place for the second time in 2017. This time our event will be run alongside Tallinn Bicycle week
Our goal is to bring Estonian riders together with our neighbour fixed gear scenes from the Baltics, Scandinavia, and Russia.
The festival is constructed as an urban tour around Tallinn. There will be five different diciplines that define our fixed gear scene at different locations in Tallinn:
Friday night, 2th June
★ The Criterium (you know the deal, just be fast) + bike movies @ Lauluväljak
Saturday, 3th June
★ Suprizrace @ Vabaduse Väljak
★ Tracklocross (urban cyclocross) @ TBA
★ Main Race (do you have what it takes to be a courier?) @ Pirita, near our old velodroom, the river, the sea. Summer vibes!
★ Lohakunn (skid like superstar in the middle of a party)

Back in 2008 David Trimble created the Red Hook Crit as a fun race to celebrate his own birthday, bringing together his bike racing friends. On April 29, 2017 the race celebrated its 10th Anniversary
in Red Hook, Brooklyn NY. What started out as an illegal night race with 15 riders has turned into an international championship gathering over 500 athletes from 43 different countries.
