“Dear friends, art lovers, and revolutionaries:
As most of you know, the Acamonchi Art Studio relocated from San Diego, CA (Barrio Logan) to Tijuana, Mexico in February. The Studio is in a large flat in a vibrant environment known as Hostal Pangea, which located in the new cultural heart of Tijuana. The space itself is a diamond in the rough, tons of potential but it needs a lot of TLC and this is where you come in.
I need your help to keep Acamonchi Art Studio alive and thriving.
Since the beginning, my vision for the Acamonchi Art Studio has been to tag along, piggy-back ride with other artists and communities, through graphic design, art shows, and silkscreen printing. Over the years the studio has supported for fun, love, and business countless projects from the most humble grassroots DIY projects, to big name projects in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, Canada, Tijuana, and Mexico City. My work is fueled by music, especially the independent music industry, veg restaurants, holistic medicine, humanitarian causes, tattoo and body piercing; skate and bike shops; zines, feminist collectives, interior design, fashion, and even high end galleries and museums–you know all the cool stuff that makes our communities vital and great places to live/work.
Acamonchi Art Studio needs your help for relocation expenses, setting up the printing equipment, and to create murals to beautify the city of Tijuana.
